Murata Type 18

A slightly updated version of Japan's first domestically produced infantry rifle. The type 18 was a single-shot, breech loading rifle produced in 1885, firing the 11x60mmR black powder cartridge. The Murata pattern of rifles saw service from the First Sino-Japanese war, all the way into WW2 as a rear echelon arm.
